Mirabeau served in the Mediterranean during the First World War.

In 1919 Mirabeau served in the Black Sea in support of anti-Bolshevik forces. She ran aground off the Crimea during a blizzard, but was re-floated after having been made lighter (including removing 'A' turret). She was not returned to service and was condemned as a target in 1921.
