Paris was completed in 1914 at Le Seyne and was modernised between the World Wars.

By the time of World War Two Paris was a harbour training ship. She sailed to England in June 1940 and became an accommodation ship for Polish seamen.

She was returned to France in 1945 and was scrapped in 1956.
