Strasbourg French super-dreadnought fast battleship

Strasbourg in the battle at Mers-el-Kebir, Algeria, 3 July 1940. It appears that either side of smoke and dust is rising from where British shells have hit the harbour break-water/fortifications.

To the right of the picture is the battleship Bretagne and in the foreground a destroyer hastily preparing to leave the harbour.
