French super-dreadnought fast battleship

Dunkerque at anchor. On the quarter-deck it looks as though the aircraft catapult has been swung out to launch a seaplane. This picture can be dated as later than earlier photographs by the improved smoke stack, which has been modified to help direct smoke away from the main control tower.
